Flower delivery in Reading, United Kingdom from South Africa by 5 florists

Quick Facts about Reading

The Berkshire town of Reading is the largest place without city status in the UK, home to some of the best independent florists you'll find anywhere, who deliver same day and next day flowers to the 150,000 people who call Reading home.

Reading is well known for the 3 Bs: beer, bricks and biscuits, which combined perfectly to lay the foundation for its role in the industrial revolution. In the 19th century, Huntley and Palmer's biscuit factory was the largest in the world and even provided specially made emergency biscuits to Captain Scott's ill-fated British Antarctic Expedition to the South Pole in 1911. S & E Collier Ltd, Reading's largest brickmakers, were established in the mid-19th century and produced the famous 'Reading Red' bricks, while breweries were once commonplace across the town.

Direct2florist's local independent florists will deliver your floral arrangement by hand, along with your personalised message card, on the same or next day as rerquired. You never know, your bouquet may also include the flower of Reading, the Summer snowflake, which grows wild beside the River Loddon in and around the town.
